Description

The MS132-20 manual motor starter (also known as a motor protection switch or manual motor protector) is a compact 45 mm wide device with an operating current rating of Ie = 20.0 A. This device is used to manually switch motors on and off and reliably protect them against short circuits, overloads and phase failures without fuses. The manual motor starter offers a rated service short circuit breaking capacity Ics = 100 kA at 400 VAC and a trip class 10. Other features are the integrated disconnect function, temperature compensation, trip-free mechanism and a rotating handle with clear indication of the switch position. The manual motor starter is suitable for three-phase and single-phase applications. The handle is lockable to prevent unauthorized modification. Auxiliary contacts, signal contacts, undervoltage releases, shunt releases, three-phase busbars, power supplies and spacers are available as accessories.
